Digital Storm is proud to announce the successor to their award-winning custom liquid cooling system, HydroLux PRO. Designed from the ground up with hard acrylic or copper tubes, HydroLux PRO incorporates new high-performance fittings, valves, and a custom designed cable management system that captures the spirit of all the greatest hand-built cooling systems. Customers will now have access to the best hand-built cooling loops without the hassle of designing & building the system themselves. HydroLux PRO will available for customization inside Digital Storm PCs on January 27, 2016
“We’ve incorporated the apex of enthusiast grade liquid cooling builds into our flag-ship desktops,” said Harjit Chana, Chief Operating Officer. “HydroLux PRO is the final frontier of custom liquid cooling and our imagination is the only limit.” With HydroLux PRO, fragile elbow joints and bends are replaced with advanced compression fittings with quick disconnect brackets for easy access when adding or removing hardware. 45° & 90° angled adaptors allow for sleek looks, clean lines, and unmatched flexibility when designing custom loops to cool any configuration, no matter how complex. Copper or rigid acrylic tubing gives each system a durable & professional look that will last for years without any rust or tube discoloration. All of this is paired with Digital Storm’s airflow control board & software, unlocking maximum control over chassis thermals and noise. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

And just when I ordered a bolt 3 with custom cooling, oh well. But I do wonder how much extra this would cost.

You should figure each of those elbow joints are at least $10 retail apiece. It does save on the effort to bend tubes, though (and the scrap generated from botched bends).
The Velox configuration is bugging me...it is impossible to do a 3-way SLI configuration on the M8E board, because that would be x8/x4/x4, electrically, and Nvidia doesn't allow for x4 connections in SLI. |

Yes we are still offering flex tubes! This system is separate and designed specifically for rigid builds. |

Hi Steven,
I can understand why you have went to the Hydrolux Pro configuration. To my minds eye it would look better if you use connectors that are the same color as the tubing/fluid. In this picture the polished connecters stick out like a sore thumb. I don't find this attractive but bet it would look better with white connectors. Frank ![]() |

It's all for personal preferences, the chrome connectors do blend in with surrounds really well so they are universal with multiple color schemes versus us using black ones for example.
We do still offer flexible tubing for customers that don't like that look. |

So how easy are the quick disconnects to take apart?

It's simply squeezing the ring and pulling apart, it's quite simple actually.
