Until June 6th, you can get a Steam Controller for $35 + $8 S&H from the steam store. They normally retail for $50.

I've never used one aside from the very limited times I've played on friends consoles. I have been intrigued by the Steam Controller with the dual touch pads and figured now would be as good a time as any to get one to try it out.

I have an Xbone controller hooked up to my PC... I use it for games like Rocket League, Elite: Dangerous, etc.

Some games just play better with a controller.

I have a Xbox controller that I use some times. I found that I have to hold the controller in my left hand and the mouse in my right hand. I just can't use the joy stick on the controller with any speed.
